The Door represents a metaphorical threshold through which life crosses from one state to another.

The idea features a record of people who have walked from one room, through the door, and into the next room, moving from one state of being to another in terms of identity and personality or life circumstances. The objective is to present the images as part of an imaginary narrative centred around the lives of people whose lives are connected by the rooms in which they find themselves meeting.
