‘Inanimate reason’ is made using a digital pinhole method to create environmental (sometimes self) portraits. It imagines a dialogue between Magritte’s non human figures, and Duchamp’s mannequin from the Exposition Internationale du Surréalisme, Paris, 1938.
in a dark and playful way, with images which aren’t always easy to look at.
